摘要	Reconstruction of a long segental stenosis of the pharyngoesophagus presents a difficult problem. A case of two stage salvage composite reconstruction of the pharyngoesophagus using both the mobilized left colon and local skin tube following failure of the primary right colon interposition is presented. Furthermore, the skin tube was covered by a free muscular flap and leakages from both sides of anastomosis were not encountered. Our proposed method is a two-stage procedure for reconstructing the pharyngoesophagus when the pull-up organ is too short.
