| 摘要 |
The use of autologous bone grafts is frequent in orthopedic reconstruction and
arthrodesis. This well-established procedure, however, may be associated with
considerable morbidity, and the surgeons should be aware of such potential
complications in an effort to avoid or manage them.
This paper reports on a 56-year-old female, with a rare complication of herniation of
abdominal contents through the abdominal wall defect above the iliac crest after bone
graft harvesting. She underwent successful mesh hernia repair in a sublay position,
and remained free from recurrence 3 years after the herniorrhaphy. We review the
literature and discuss about its risk factors, prevention, and surgical repairs. |
