篇名	Posttraumatic thoracolumbar pseudomeningocele with nerve roots entrapment: a case report

摘要	Posttraumatic pseudomeningocele occurring with nerve root entrament is very rare. We report a patient with a pseudomeningocele and nerve root herniation at the thoracolumbar junction. A 42-year-old man suffered from sudden onset of right lower leg weakness and drop foot 3 weeks before admission. He had experienced trauma with a T12 minor compression fracture about 3 years ago. The imaging study revealed a giant intraspinal cyst woth conus medullaris and nerve root herniation. Under the impression of pseudomeningocele, we performed laminectomies and reduced the nerve roots. His postoperative neurological recovery was satisfactory. We concluded that a good outcome depends on early diagnosis and adequate surgical treatment.
