篇名	Malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the mesentery: a case report

摘要	Malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) is the most common subtype of sarcoma. It usually occurs in late adult life and frequently involves the extremities and retroperitoneum, but primary intra-abdominal MFH is rare. We report a 74-year-old male patient with a huge MFH originating from the jejunal mesentery. The clinical presentation and imaging studies, including the abdominal sonogram and CT scan, were all non-specific. The diagnosis was made on the basis of pathologic microscopic findings. Curative resection was achived, and the patient was asymptomatic without evidence of recurrence five months after the operation.
