摘要	This paper presents the case of a 21-year-old male patient with a history of generalized toniceclonic seizure induced by an almost completely and densely calcified intra-axial tumor located at the left frontal lobe. The tumor exhibited an unpublished combination of extensive ossification and calcification with minimal cytologic atypia and positive findings for glial fibrillary acidic protein. The final diagnosis was that of an intracerebral low-grade astrocytoma (LGA). Reports of this tumor are extremely rare. We review similar cases, the mechanisms of tumor calcification, and the current treatment for LGAs.
