篇名	Intrapelvic Migration of Knowles Pins with Rupture of Urinary Bladder and Sepsis: A Case Report

摘要	Since the amount of aged people has increased year after year, the occurrence rate of fracture of femoral neck has also gradually increased. Surgical intervention enables the patient to regain the ability to walk and reduces the complication rate of being long-term bed-ridden. We present one chronically psychotic 46-year-old man receiving open reduction and internal fixation with Knowles pins on account of fracture of femoral neck. Nine months after the operation, the implanted pins migrated, causing rupture of the urinary bladder and septic arthritis of the left hip joint. He died of sepsis twelve months after the operation. Hence, we recommend an endoprosthetic replacement to treat this kind of patient to avoid such complications.
