摘要	Pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) originally described by Whipple et al in 1935 has undergone many modifications to improve its surgical risk. In this mini-review, the advantages of pancreaticogastrostomy are addressed. Pancreatic leakage, surgical morbidity and mortality of pancreaticogastrostomy are compared with conventional pancreaticojejunostomy.
