摘要 |
A ruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm into the interventricular septum is rare and
usually associated with aortic valve insufficiency. Herein, we present, a 31 year-old
male patient, who had anterior chest pain without radiation during exercise. A
diastolic murmur was heard along the left parasternal border, and the chest x-ray
revealed a widened mediastinum. The patient received serial examination including
3-D echocardiography. A ruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm into the
interventricular septum and severe aortic insufficiency were the tentative diagnosis.
He underwent an operation of repair of the aneurysmal sac and replacement of an
aortic valve. He has now been followed-up for 6 months, and the postoperative
course had been uneventful. |
