摘要
Ruptured cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations are the main causes
of spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage, leading to high morbidity and mortality. The coexistence of intracranial aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations has been rarely reported in the literature. The diagnosis and treatment remain a challenge for clinical physicians. We report hereby a 53-year-old male who presented with severe headache, vomiting and dizziness one hour prior to admission. Two extranidal flow-related small aneurysms with AVMs were demonstrated by angiography. Suboccipital craniectomy with clipping of aneurysms and trapping of AVM was performed. Postoperatively, the patient recovered well and his profound neurological deficits were improved. The relevant literature is also reviewed.
