摘要
Central-located non-small cell lung cancer may involve not only the bronchus but
also the pulmonary artery. Sleeve lobectomy is a widely used surgical technique for
preserving lung parenchyma. However, sleeve lobectomy combined with sleeve
pulmonary artery resection to preserve the distal lung is not common. We report two
patients who underwent sleeve lobectomy of the left upper lobe and sleeve resection
of the pulmonary artery to treat non-small cell lung cancer of the upper lobe of the
left lung. We used small atraumatic vascular clamps to control blood flow through
the pulmonary and interlobar arteries. No heparin was used during or after
operation. Both patients recovered well and were tumor-free 28-months and 6-
months respectively after surgery.
