摘要	Castleman disease is a rare lymphadenopathy that usually presents as a solitary,slow growing mass. We report a case with a unicentric, hyaline-vascular type of Castleman disease presenting as a retroperitoneal tumor. A 59-year-old woman developed right upper abdominal fullness and hematuria. Retroperitoneal exploration was performed through a transperitoneal approach, and the mass was completely resected. The postoperative course was uneventful. Castleman disease should be included in the differential diagnosis of retroperitoneal tumors.
