| 摘要 |
A rare case of primary intracranial leiomyoma is reported. The study describes the clinical, radiologicial, light microscopic, immunohistochemical and ultrastructural features of a leiomyoma localized at the insular region of the brain in a 19-year-old female patient. Immunohistochemical and ultrastructual studies play important roles in differentiating leiomyoma from schwannoma because they have the same histological features. The probable origin of this tumor from blood vessels is discussed, and the literature on smooth muscle tumors of the central nervous system is reviewed. In addition, we describe interesting and unusual actinrich inclusion bodies in the leiomyoma. |
