摘要
Colonic carcinoid tumors are rare and diagnosis often is delayed or missed. Because of a lack of carcinoid syndrome, most primary lesions are discovered
incidentally at surgery or autopsy. The radiologist and the clinician may shorten this delay by being alert to a possible desmoplastic reaction found on barium enema, and by ordering appropriate tests.
