A 52-year-old female patient had suffered from a nontender, slowly growing En bloc resection sternal mass; biopsy of the mass revealed a hemangioma. of the tumor with sternum and costal cartilage and reconstruction of the bony defect with three titanum plates were performed. Pathology examination showed a cavernous hemangioma with no malignant cells. A progressively protruding tumor of the medial end of the left clavicle was noted 13 months later. Chest X-ray examination revealed typical "honeycomb" pattern of the lesion. Resection of the tumor, with the left clavicle, was performed. Pathology diagnosis was cavernous hemangioma. |
