摘要	A case of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid gland associated with lymphocytic parathyroiditis is described. There was no evidence of an underlying infectious disease, developmental anomaly or a drug reaction which could explain the inflammatory component. It is suggested that an autoimmune process might have been involved in the pathogenesis of this clinicopathologic entity. Meanwhile, the resection of an incidentaloma of the parathyroid gland is also discussed.
