摘要	Spontaneous rupture of hepatocellular carcinoma (H.C.C) with acute hemoperitoneum occurs in 5.46-14.5% of patients with the disease.'ture of a metastatic liver tumor is rare, with only 23 cases reported in the English literature.' There are many differences in the clinical course and treatment between the two disease entities. The present report concerns a case of rupture of liver metastasis from nasopharyngeal carcinoma (N.P.C) which was successfully managed by hepatic resection.
