篇名 Modified Bankart Reconstruction for Recurrent Anterior Shoulder Dislocation-Using Mitek GII Suture Anchors

摘要 Twenty-three patients undergoing a modified anterior capsulolabral re-construction fixed with Mitek GII suture anchors for recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation were evaluated 9 to 32 months after surgery. We used the modified Rowing Scoring System; results were excellent in 13 (56.5%), good in 8 (34.8%), fair in 2 (8.7%). The good to excellent results stood for about 91%. There were no recurrence, whatsoever. There are two major advantages for this procedure. Firstly, suture anchors are used allowing quick and secure capsule reattachment thereby preventing violation of the glenoid articular surface. Secondly, a horizontal capsulotomy is performed instead of T-capsulotomy, which is a more likely an anatomical reconstruc-tion preventing capsulolabral overtightening. Although the early results would seem promising, long-term follow up is necessary to determine the effectiveness of this procedure.
