摘要	From 1971 through 1986, eighty patients underwent repair of hypospadias by using a classic Denis Browne technique. The over-all complication rate was 56 percent (45 of 80), with 40 fistula (50%), 3 urethral strictures (3.8%) and 2 urethral meatal stenosis (2.5%). The high rate of postoperative fistula formation makes the classical Denis Browne technique not a valuable pro-cedure in those patients with penoscrotal or scrotal perineal hypospadias.
