篇名	Retroperitoneal Benign Schwannoma-----A Case Report

摘要	An abdominal mass was found in a 70-year-old male patient without any discomfort for years. After a series of examinations, including physical, radiological and ultrasonic, retroperitoneal tumor was diagnosed. Total excision was performed successfully. Histologic examination revealed benign schwannoma. It is very rare in retroperitoneum and difficult to be diag-nosed before operation. Complete excision is the choice of treatment and recommended. The patient was doing well and followed at out-patient clinic. Patient with retroperitoneal benign schwannoma usually has a good prognosis.
