摘要	Sigmoid intussusception presenting as rectal prolapse is extremely rare. A 70- year-old male patient went to our ER with rectal prolapse and bleeding. After emergent laparotomy sigmoido-recto-anal intussusception was noted. Anterior resection with primary anastomosis and protective colostomy was done successfully. He returned for closure of colostomy 3 months later. The treatment course was complete without any morbidity.
