摘要 |
Leiomyoma of the kidney is a benign tumor and has been reported sporadically in recent literatures. We reported a rare case of large leiomyoma arising from the lower pole of right kidney. The preoperative diagnosis was uncertain. Right nephrectomy was carried out on account of positive cut margin during an attempt of nephron-sparing surgery. The pathology revealed this tumor was chiefly composed of spindle shaped cells. After 8 years of follow-up, there was no evidence of tumor recurrence for the patient, which testified to the benign nature of this tumor. |
