摘要	Duplication of the alimentary tract is an uncommon congenital anomaly that is usually identified during the pediatric period. However, a few cases remain unsuspected until adulthood. We herein present a 34-year-old female who developed severe lower abdominal pain after three years of occasional mild abdominal pain. She visited a gynecologist. After transvaginal ultrasonography, ovarian torsion was suspected and she underwent emergent surgical exploration, which revealed a huge cystic duplication of transverse colon with torsion expanding into the pelvic cavity. Wedge resection of the involved segment was performed.
