| 摘要 |
Volvuli of the sigmoid colon have traditionally been managed with sigmoidoscopic decompression followed by open laparotomy with resection of the redundant portion, thus leaving a large incisional wound in the lower abdominal area. A 20-year-old male patient who was diagnosed as such a condition underwent successful laparoscop-assisted sigmoidectomy after decompression of the sigmoid colon. The intracorporeal technique of bowel anastomosis was used, thus entailing a smaller incision wound. This technique, is straightforward and feasible, and can be the future recommended procedure for patients with sigmoid volvulus. |
