摘要
Traumatic dislocation of the testis is characterized by an ectopically displaced testis as the result of a closed injury. The distinction should be made to exclude relocation of the testis from open genital trauma, and form the retractile testis commonly found in children. Those are two separate entities. Herein a report of two cases of unilateral, superficial inguinal dislocation of the testis. Case No. 1 was the sequeal of an electric burn and a fall injury. Case No. 2 was the complication after a motorcycle accident. Both patients underwent inguinal exploration and orchiopexy after failed closed reduction. The mechanism, classification, diagnosis and treatment of traumatic testicular dislocation are discussed and the literature, reviewed.
