篇名	The Incidence of Renal Stones in Patients with Cushing's Syndrome

摘要	From September 1985 to September 1995. 49 patients with Cushing's syndrome including 27 (55%) with pituitary adenoma, 17 (35%) with adrenal adenoma and 5 (10%) with adrenal carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed. Nine patients (18%) were found to have renal stones (7 unilateral, 2 bilateral). The incidence of renal stones was greater than that of the general population in Taiwan (8.93%) as reported by Lee and associates. Based on the present results, we suggest than the incidence of renal stones in patients with Cusing's syndrome may be higher than that in the general population. Treatment must address not only the renal calculi but also correction of predisposing factors.
