摘要
Hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC, Lynch syndrome) was originally called the cancer family syndrome. Subdividing the Lynch syndrome into Lynch I (colorectal cancer only) and Lynch II (colorectal and extracolonic tumors) are based on the presence or abscece of extracolonic tumors. Brain tumor is rarely found in Lynch Syndrome. We herein describe a 16-year-old male patient with glioblastoma multiforme who is a son of a proband of cancer family syndrome with an unusual aggregation of colorectal cancer. The possibility of brain tumors as a rare spectrum of neoplasms in cancer family syndrome is discussed.
